•Dog- friendly beaches are heaven on earth for Fido!•
One hundred beach umbrellas are distributed along the coast of Lido Camaiore , all specially equipped with a proper kit to better accommodate dogs of all sizes, in respect for the rights and privileges of all dog-owning and non-dog owning .
The Dog-friendly beach is an access right’s project involving half of Lido’s beach clubs which started back in 2012 in order to promote pets’ access to be allowed in privately owned beaches.
Your pet is welcome on the shore but you are required to previously sign a beach Regulation and Restriction Agreement, namely committing yourself to keep your animal under control , on a leash no longer than 1 mt and a half, to carry a muzzle with you and finally to make sure you that your dog has always a bowl full of water and that you take him for a walk every two hours.
The times the beach may be used by dogs is limited during the summer season (not permitted on the beach from 9:30 a.m. to 19.00 p.m and of course the owners must clean up after them.
